How did it help Heroes? Well, ratings held steady at 5.6 million viewers Monday night, which is roughly the same as the week before. At least it seems Hayden Panettiere and her first on screen lesbian kiss helped to prevent the steady downward trend Heros has been going through for the past year or so.

Now, if they develop this into a full blown lesbian affair and throw Hayden Panettiere back into a cheerleading uniform, we’ll see their ratings double.
